Happy new year! May 2021 at least be better than 2020.
I normally prefer to give my newsletters a light-hearted touch, but today’s newsletter is different. 2020 was different. Life from now on will be different.
Many of us have lost loved ones, and some have lost jobs or businesses. And so before I continue, I want to take this opportunity to offer you my most heartfelt condolences. I don’t operate in a bubble and I am sensitive towards the sorrow, pain and difficulties that many of you are facing right now.
If lockdown has negatively impacted your ability to pay your insurance premium, please talk to me before you consider cancelling. Let me help you. Asking for help is not something to be embarrassed/ashamed/shy of. We’re all in this together and I want to help find a solution that suits your budget and which allows you to keep your most essential cover. This may be particularly important for vehicle premiums if your vehicle/s are still subject to a financial agreement.
I know we are all taking strain and there are countless advertisements on the TV and radio promising significant savings on short-term insurance, but please be very careful as there is no such thing as a free lunch. Please come to me first before you just decide to take up new insurance with any of the other insurance companies. I can at least advise you if your cover is being sacrificed for a lower premium, or if your excess is significantly higher. I will never advise you not to take a better deal, I just want to ensure that you are sufficiently covered.
Don’t forget that since I’m a broker for Optimum Financial Services, you enjoy access to some of the best rates that many other brokerages simply can’t compete with. So, if your finances are in trouble and you need assistance maintaining your cover, please reach out to me.
Wishing you and your family good health and positivity for the start of the year.
Always in your corner,
Stephan Kruis.
